The Challenge Part 1… Design
The client required a replacement kitchen, 250 miles away in Chingford.
We decided to plan this kitchen via email for the measurements etc and by WhatsApp mainly for photographs.
Finally we managed to come up with a layout and this layout was checked numerous times.
The Challenge Part 2… Transport
With the design finalized and checked, we ordered just the kitchen cabinets from JJO plc, my usual kitchen supplier.
The worktops, due to their bulk, we decided to order online, effectively sourcing the worktops more locally.
We arranged transport of 1 very well packed pallet of cabinets and panels using Graham Poole Transport Rochdale. A very cost effective solution.
The client was able to take delivery of the cabinets and store them until we could install.
The Challenge Part 3… Installation
A tools list was compiled and local timber/plumbing suppliers were located. From our base in Littleborough, we loaded the van guided by the tools list and headed to Chingford. The old kitchen was swiftly removed giving us a first look at what we were up against.
